How do I get started

The best way to get started is to call or email us.  We can discuss your needs, preferences, timetable, features and we get a chance to know each other and to figure out if we are a good match for you. Below you can see the step by step website building process.

Who Owns the Site

You own the site if it is one of our custom sites. Feel free to use the content. If there are exceptions we will discuss it with you.

Will you copy another site I like

We won't directly copy another site unless you own it. We will use another site you like as a starting point- we strive to make you unique and to also keep you out of trouble.

How much does this cost

Visit our pricing page. Generally clients find us extremely reasonable

Website Building Process

Gather information and find out about your business

We try to find out as much about you and your business as possible. We have a 3 page questionnaire that covers your business and your preferences. Many of our clients have ideas from other real estate agent websites that they have seen and like. We will use your input to come up with an overall feel and focus.

Graphics and Content

Sarah works on the look, feel and graphics of the site to give you the look you want while Jeff works on the writing, content, links and real estate aspects of the site.

Your involvement

Your involvement can be as little or much as you want. We have some clients who give us very little information and just say "make us a site" and others who want to be involved with everything. We can work with either style or anything in between.

Advice and Suggestions

One thing you will get from us is our opinion. After almost 25 years of managing real estate office and 15 years of web experience, if we think you are going in the wrong direction, we will let you know. Also, we don't just build your site, we want to make sure your real estate marketing is enhanced. However, we also understand that the site is yours and that you make the ultimate decisions.

Listings and IDX

We will discuss putting IDX listings (Your company's and other company's listings) on your site. The number one reason people visit real estate websites is to see listings. You can have lots of pictures and virtual tours.

What is included?

We will discuss the pages and other features you might want to include, for example, subdivision or community pages, school information, video or audio messages, Power Point presentations, company or individual marketing pieces, forms. For lead capture, you may wish to include CMA forms, newsletter sign-up, special reports, mortgage rates and calculators, after-sale evaluation or anything else you'd like to add.

We will help write or edit content

We will help you with what pages to include. We will help with your resume and other pages. We will make suggestions if you want us to. The emphasis is on making you stand out from the pack.

Headers or Logos

Each of our sites has a custom header which gives your site a unique look and feel. We will incorporate your pictures or provide pictures. We will work with your color preferences and make sure your site has an eye pleasing appearance.

You approve the finished product

You will have a chance to approve and make changes to the final version of your site. Test all the links, forms etc. It is your site and it is much more effective if you know what is on your site, become enthused about it and make it an integral part of your business. You will then have a real estate website you can be proud of and promote to others.

Changes and additions

Once your site is active and you want to make a change, all you have to do is email or call us. We make most changes the same day. You have the idea, we do the work. This service is included as part of our hosting. Some large changes may incur a cost- we will discuss it with you first.

Why do we handle changes this way? Several reasons - the changes get done in a timely manner, the look and the feel of the site retain consistency, you focus on your main business rather than being a web master and you have someone to bounce your ideas off. Of course you can make changes on your own with the easy to use site back end.

Email and forms

We will set up one or more email addresses for you and have them forward to anywhere you want. Once you own your own domain name you can have an email address that will be with you as long as you keep the domain active.
