Your Team For Real Estate Marketing
One of the most effective ways to build your real
estate marketing efforts is to get your clients and sphere
involved in your efforts. How many times have you said
to yourself, I should call so and so but I just don't have
anything to say. Call everyone you know and have them review
what you have been sending them. You have been sending your
sphere and clients something monthly haven't you? If you
haven't been sending them something, ask them what they think
they would find valuable.
The call works like this. Hi this Jeff (it is OK to use your
own name) and after some small talk you say that you
value their opinion and would they mind taking a
look at your marketing materials and ask them
if they have received anything from other agents that they find
interesting or valuable. You can then ask them to send back
your next mailer or email with comments or would they mind if
you called them again to see what they think.
What have you accomplished by this call?
- You have actually called clients or sphere of influence
people and reminded them you were in business.
- You have told them that you value their opinion. (I
don't know about you but when people say they value my
opinion, my opinion of them usually goes up.)
- You have asked them for help. (Most people want to be
helpful)
- You have them invested in your business.
- You may get some great suggestions.
- You can find out if your competitors are doing
something you should look out for.
- You have a reason for another contact.
This one call which I call the invest in my business call
can be repeated yearly. Also, don't forget to ask for
referrals. So if you want to improve your real estate marketing
efforts, get other people involved in your business.
