Website- 3 Parts of a Website
- Domain name- This is
comparable to your name, i.e. Jeff
Stone.com. This name is yours as long as
you keep paying the bills. It is how
everyone knows you.
- Hosting- This is
comparable to your house. In order to be
found on the Internet, you have to live
somewhere. Hosting accomplishes this for
you.
- Your actual website-
This is comparable to your clothes and your
personality. Just like in real life, there
is a big difference in content and
looks.
