Newsletters
An E-Newsletter or a print one, done right is a great
way to stay in touch with past, current and potential clients
and to build a relationship with them. I'm no different than
you, I want to develop a relationship with you. Every month, I
send out a newsletter with a real estate marketing or real
estate website message and a tech tip. My goal is to give you
something of value that can help your business each month.
2009
July
- 30 Days of Real Estate Website Tips offers a
month of tips to make real estate websites better. The tips
have something for agents of all levels and cover a wide range
of topics. Tech Tip suggests that real estate
agents check their websites in both Internet Explorer and
Firefox as the browsers often display sites differently.
May
- Graduation Had Two Real Estate Lessons uses
graduation and a couple of bad commencement speeches to
reinforce the effort it takes to make it in real estate and
encourages agents to make their websites valuable to
vistors. Tech Tip suggests agents check links
on their websites to make sure they are not broken and that
they are valuable.
April
- Real Estate Experience Is a Good Teacher reviews the
ups and downs of real estate over the last 30 years, pointing
out that real estate goes through many changes and presents
opportunity along the way. Warning this one will make you
laugh. Tech Tip points out one place
where you can find links to all Google's services.
February -
The New President and Real Estate talks about the
qualities the president has that can equate to real estate such
as planning, attitude and the use of mentors. Tech
Tip follows up on last month's Facebook
information.
January
- Real Estate Agents Facebook is a Yes explains the
advandages for real estate agents of being on Facebook.
Tech Tip encourages real estate agents to set
up a Facebook account.
2008
December
- Real Estate Results and Holiday Cards takes the
example of how sending and receiving holiday cards reflect your
approach to real estate. Tech Tip talks
about the appropriate fonts to use for websites and email.
November
- Real Estate, The Election, Two Approaches uses the
presidential campaign to show how using the Internet
effectively is important in real estate and politics.
Tech Tip talks about two features of Google
Search, the phone number cross directory and mapping can be
used by real estate agents.
October -
Real Estate and the Race to Succeed points out that
whether it is racing or real estate things more effort is
needed to succeed. Technology and prospecting are vital
ingredients. Tech Tip explains how to easily
alphabetize or sort a list using Word.
August - Old
Fashioned Real Estate explores the use of old
fashioned people skills and use of the Internet in real estate
sales. Also talks about Beaver Island Michigan. Tech
Tip suggests that the original use of the telephone
has not gone out of style
July
- A Summer Real Estate Story talks about the
similarities between baseball and real estate. Tech
Tip covers the importance of using an email
signature
June- 10 of my
Favorites covers websites or programs that help a real
estate agent with their business, using technology to make
things easier. Tech Tip suggests using some of
the programs included in the 10 Favorites.
May-
15 Lessons learned or relearned over the past
year that will help you with Your business. Tech
Tip- Look at your website through the eyes of your
visitors and change 1 thing each month.
March-
Positioning is a concept that can help your
business. Tech Tip- Update your
information everywhere you appear on the web

received over 50 responses to this newsletter which remembered
my Dad, Bob Stone who died the previous month
and how his life could be equated to that of someone in
real estate. I still cry every time I read it.

least monthly- you'll thank me for this tip

How you look on the web is important because
even the least tech savvy person will check you out when they
are ready to move. Tech Tip- Wait to buy a
new computer with the Vista operating system until the bugs are
worked out
