7 Tips For Great Real Estate Website Results

1- Visit your site
Visiting your site may be obvious but I can't tell you how many times one of my real estate web site clients has asked me to add a feature they already had. Visit your site and really get to know what is there.

2- Test your site
Click on every button to see where it goes, click on every link to see where it takes you, fill out every form (Your site does have forms, doesn't it?) as if you were a customer. Make sure everything works and it that you are taken to places that make sense.

3- Get enthused
Get excited about your site. Potential customers have lots of choices in real estate web sites, so get excited and your visitors might too.

4- Put your web site address on everything
Business cards, voice mail, answering machines, signs, flyers, brochures, email signature, sign in sheets even napkins all should be places where your web address should be found.

5- Visit your competitors sites
You can pick up some great ideas and also some pointers on what not to do. Warning! Don't blatantly copy but pick up inspiration and ideas on competing sites.

6- Keep growing your site
Your web site is never done. Search engines look for updated content and so do visitors. Don't become obsessed but keep growing.

7- When clients ask you questions, put the answer on site
Be smart about this, not every question is appropriate. Usually when you get asked a question once, someone else has the same or a similar question. It is a great way to keep adding relevant content to your site.
